What paints do you use?

I use acrylic paint. I prefer Liquitex Professional and I use Liquitex Basics for their transparency as glazes. I also use System 3 and Golden. In addition to paints I use a variety of professional pencil crayons, pastels, acrylic paint markers and Posca pens.

How long does it take to make a painting?

Paintings will take days or even weeks to complete. I start off working on at least 3 paintings, getting the first layers down, this keeps me working freely and void of judgement. Then I start to focus on individual paintings eventually taking each one to completion. Each painting goes through a journey of layering, of experimenting, of failures and successes before the end result is realised.
